METHOD FOR RADICAL LOW-TRAUMATIC SURGICAL TREATMENT OF COMPLICATED FORMS OF PILONIDAL FISTULA

A method for the radical low-traumatic surgical treatment of the complicated forms of the pilonidal fistula comprises the cut over the elements of the complicated pilonidal fistula followed by their mechanical removal. The necrotic tissues, the wound debris and the elements of the epithelial coat are removed with the aid of low-frequency ultrasound. Two crescent cuts are used for the access with elimination of primary and secondary fistula passages. The wound is closed completely with modified vertical U-shaped or 8-shaped adapting sutures depending on the configuration of sacrococcygeal area.
