A method for determining the degree of homo-and heterozygosis by recessive genes share among monogenic traits comprises the visual determination of recessive and dominant characteristics of particular individual or population samples. Visually and/or by immunological (laboratory) method the characteristics of easily identified monogenic characteristics - dominant and recessive are determined, and the homozygosis degree is calculated by share of recessive traits, which genes are always in the homozygous state from total number of selected monogenic traits.
