A method for lowering the fat content in duckling carcasses provides the use of a probiotic preparation. Baikal EM 1" is used as the probiotic preparation according to the scheme: 1-2 weeks 0.15 mg/head, 3-4 weeks 0.25 mg/head, 5-7 weeks 0.40 mg/head.
