A method for diagnosing the disorders of the vegetative nervous system comprises clinical-laboratory and instrumental examination and the assessment of the heart rhythm variability. The temporal and spectral parameters of the heart rhythm variability analyzed for diagnosing the functional disorders of the vegetative nervous system in the patients with liver cirrhosis for predicting the course of the disease.
