Method of preparing a thermosensitive POEPOP-acetal derivative comprising the following successive steps: a. Reaction of one or several statistical polyethermines (POEPOP) of generic formula (I) in which p represents an integer between 1 and 40, advantageously between 3 and 29, and m represents an integer between 1 and 40, advantageously between 1 and 31, with the succinic anhydride to lead to the corresponding acid; b. Coupling of the acid obtained after step a) with the 2,2-dimethoxyethylamine to lead to the desired POEPOP-acetal derivative.
