A non-therapeutic method for controlling an invertebrate pest comprising contacting the invertebrate pest or its surroundings with a biologically effective amount of a mixture comprising: (a) a compound of Formula 1, 3-bromo-N- [4 -chloro-2-methyl-6 - [(methylamino) carbonyl] phenyl] -1- (3-chloro-2-pyridinyl) -1H-pyrazol-5-carboxamide, an N-oxide, or one of its salts, and a component (b) in which component (b) is at least one invertebrate pest control agent selected from the group consisting of (b16) pimetrozin, and its salts; in which the invertebrate pest is selected from the group consisting of whitefly (Bemisia argentifolii), potato chicharrite (Empoasca fabae), jumps corn leaves (Peregrinus maidis), cotton aphid (Aphis gossypii) and green aphid peach tree (Myzus persicae).
