Stent graft for deployment within a body vessel, comprising: a tubular graft having a proximal end and a distal end; a stent carrier which is arranged at least partly within the tubular graft and which is provided with a proximal end and a distal end; including stent support at least one wire forming a first portion of coiled wire having a first direction of movement about an axis of the support stent, and a second part helical wire having a second direction of movement about the axis opposite the first direction of travel; It stent having support a first length when in a compressed configuration and introducing a second length less than the first, when in a deployed expanded configuration; and the support stent with graft solely or near the proximal end of the graft being attached when the stent support is in the configuration of introduction, and the graft about an inner sheath of a feeding system is arranged, inner sheath covering at least a portion of the support stent, wherein the stent graft further includes at least one locking mechanism on or near the distal end of the graft, configured to grip the stent support in the deployed configuration and thereby secure essentially the diameter and length of the support stent in the deployed configuration.
