A method for producing mammalian hair microfilm comprising the steps of: (a) providing at least one de novo papilla, (b) providing at least one other cell population selected from the group of fibroblasts, keratinocytes and / or melanocytes, (c) co -cultivate de novo papilla with at least one other cell population in non-adherent culture conditions.
