In one aspect, the present invention is directed to methods for treatingfatigue, neurobehavioral slowing and other cognitive disorders and defects dueto cancers and treatments associated with cancers, and similar conditions. Ina further aspect, the present invention is directed to methods for treatingdisorders related to menopause, including executive function defects. Themethods involve the administration of a composition comprising D-threomethylphenidate that is substantially free of L-threo methylphenidate and oferythro forms of methylphenidate.
