Among other things, a device that helps a user in holding a personal digital assistant (PDA) includes at least one sleeve sized to receive at least one of the user's fingers, and a mechanism to attach the sleeve to the PDA in an orientation to permit the user to hold the PDA by placing the finger in the sleeve while permitting the user to manipulate a function of the PDA with another finger of thumb.
