This agent for reducing drying shrinkage contains polymeric microparticles, and is characterized in that said polymeric microparticles have an average particle diameter of 10 μm to 100 μm when saturated and swollen with deionized water, and in that 0.1 to 60 mL/g of deionized water are absorbed at normal pressure.
