A method for producing composite fibres including two separate layers with a different composition and different physicochemical properties and of controlled and uniform thickness, wherein one of said layers consists of carbon nanotubes and said composite fibres are obtained from carbon nanotube fibres (1) and a first solution ( 3) with a predetermined concentration of colloidal particles (4) constituting the second layer.
