The friction clutch (10) has a guide washer (14) and an elastic ring washer (18) comprising axial maintenance units (24) for maintaining the ring washer on the washer (14). The units include two axial stoppers carried by the washer (14), and two complementary axial stoppers carried by the washer (18) are sandwiched between the axial stoppers. The axial stoppers are formed by a boss (25) arranged in the washer (14), and the complementary stoppers are formed by a radial tab (22), where the tab is encased in the boss.
