The objective of the present invention is to enable dimming of an LED, by holding the current of a triac by dynamic operation. An apparatus of the present invention is composed of three elements: a threshold-value level detector, a logical level converter, and a dynamically-supplying load apparatus. The design of the present invention enables an automatic supplying of holding current that is necessary for maintaining a triac in stable state under sufficient load, to maintain the triac in ON state. The design also enables an automatic cutoff of load, wherein power loss while the triac is being triggered is made to be extremely small, to take power consumption into consideration. This enables a dimming of the brightness of an LED using a continuous method with no blinking.
