The material specified involves multiphase manganese-doped systems textured with one or more sorts of nuclei and based on potassium-sodium niobate and/or multiphase antimony-containing systems textured with one or more sorts of nuclei, based on potassium-sodium niobate with tin or alkaline earth stannate doping, which exhibit high elongation, high Curie temperatures and improved grain growth. The manganese-doped materials exhibit reduced dielectric losses and increased insulation resistance with respect to corresponding systems without manganese doping. Without the tin or alkaline earth stannate doping, no adequate grain orientation of Sb-rich (7 mol%) K-Na-Nb-based piezoceramics is provided.
