A method and device for triggering reconfiguration of a reconfiguration wireless system are disclosed in the present invention, which are used to solve the technical problem that the system performance is reduced or the user experience is influenced as a result of unreasonable resource allocation which is caused by an unreasonable mechanism for triggering the reconfiguration. The technical solution includes: acquiring a parameter which can reflect the current transmission capability of cells requesting the reconfiguration, and a parameter which reflects the basic transmission demand of the cells requesting reconfiguration from a network side; deciding, according to the relationship between the parameter which reflects the current transmission capability of the cells requesting the reconfiguration and the parameter which reflects the basic transmission demand of the cells requesting the reconfiguration, a resource coordination strategy among the cells requesting the reconfiguration. The present invention introduces a judgement mechanism when the reconfiguration is triggered in the cell and avoids malicious application or unnecessary application of a cell, thereby the cell reconfiguration accuracy rate and the resource allocation rationality are enhanced.
