The invention relates to a concept for regulating or controlling a plurality of process parameters (13-n) which determine an interaction of a plurality of rollers (11; 12) of a rolling mill (10) in a rolling process. A measured value (15) for a bearing slip of at least one rolling bearing (16) with which one of the rollers (11; 12) is supported is ascertained during the rolling process. At least one of the process parameters (13-n) is then adjusted on the basis of the measured bearing slip (15) such that the bearing slip of the roller (11; 12) lies in a predefined range containing a bearing slip target value during the rolling process.
