ELECTRONIC RECEIVING AND TRANSMITTING SYSTEM WITH THE FUNCTION OF SYNCHRONOUS TRANSLATION OF VERBAL SPEECH FROM ONE LANGUAGE INTO ANOTHER

The invention relates to systems for translating phrases from one language into another. The technical result consists in increasing the accuracy of the conversion of an audio signal in speech form into a coded text form in the source language whilst providing the possibility of the use of a memory with a small storage capacity in this terminal. The system comprises a receiving and transmitting communications terminal for an incoming analog audio signal (АА) in speech form. The terminal comprises: a non-volatile memory; means for converting and processing the speech form AA into a coded text form (CTF) in the source language; means for translating the CTF in the source language into a CTF in a target language; means for converting the CTF in the target language into a speech form AA in the target language; means for outputting the speech form AA in the target language via a receiving communications terminal. The transmitting communications terminal is equipped with a means for verifying verbal speech relative to the written form thereof. Furthermore, the translation of the CTF in the source language into the CTF in the target language is performed by means of converting the CTF in the source language into a CTF in an intermediate language at the transmitting communications terminal. Then, the CTF in the intermediate language is converted into the CTF in the target language at the receiving communications terminal.
