A pharmaceutical composition comprising an agent that inhibits the protein target of the human genes listed in Figure 4. A method of identifying a therapeutic agent for the treatment of a disease(s) caused by expansions of DNA trinucleotide repeats and a method of identifying a gene involved in DNA trinucleotide expansion.
