Device for continuous filtration of a solid-liquid suspension on a continuous filtration apparatus, comprises an active layer comprising a fabric filter material made of synthetic fibers comprising ethylene-chloro-tri-fluoro-ethylene copolymers, polytetrafluoroethylene or polyether ether ketone. Independent claims are also included for: (1) using the filter layer comprising the fabric material made of synthetic fibers for continuous filtration of the solid-liquid suspension on the continuous filtration apparatus; and (2) isolating bisphenol-phenol adduct crystals from a suspension of bisphenol-phenol adduct crystals in liquid phenol by filtration of this suspension with the device.
