摘要

The invention relates to an aluminum matrix composite material which is suitable for producing at least a friction ring of a brake disk. The aluminum matrix composite material comprises 20 to 40% by weight of aluminum, 10 to 30% by weight of silicon, and optionally 2 to 6% by weight of iron, 1 to 3% by weight of nickel, 1 to 3% by weight of manganese, 1 to 3% by weight of magnesium, as well as 15 to 25% by weight of silicon carbide particles and 15 to 25% by weight of aluminum nitride particles, based on a total weight of the aluminum matrix composite material. The invention further relates to a method for producing a semi-finished product consisting of the aluminum matrix composite material and to a semi-finished product consisting of the aluminum matrix composite material.
