An unmanned offshore structure is rigidly connected to a seabed, and features a control module and power module operationally connected to a supply means, and is used to sequester carbon dioxide beneath sea beds. Also disclosed is an unmanned floating offshore structure which features a control module and power module operationally connected to a supply means, and is used to sequester carbon dioxide beneath sea beds (fig.1).
