The primary liquid piston converters (5) are provided in the stirling engines (3,4) at a low temperature zone (6) and secondary liquid piston converters (7) are provided in the stirling engines at a high temperature zone (8) respectively. A hydraulic control unit (27) is provided for controlling the stirling process in stirling engines. A common heat exchanger (12) is provided between primary and secondary liquid piston converters. A motor is provided for discharging fluid from primary liquid piston converters to secondary liquid piston converters or vice versa. An independent claim is included for device for operating stirling processes in combustion engine.
