PURPOSE: A method for half-drying and storing food waste is provided to prevent the decomposition of food waste and to reduce power consumption by preventing the unnecessary waste of power.;CONSTITUTION: A heater heats a drying furnace(S110). The internal air of the drying furnace is circulated by turning on a circulating fan(S130). Whether the temperature of the heater is reached to a first temperature and whether a first period of time is elapsed after the temperature of the heater is reached to the first temperature are verified(S140, S150). If the first period of time is elapsed after the temperature of the heater is reached to the first temperature, the circulating fan is maintained and the heater is turned off(S160). Whether a second period of time is elapsed after the heater is turned off is verified(S170).
