PURPOSE: A preparation method of a hydroxyapatite coating layer using aerosol deposition and hydrothermal treatment and a nano-structured hydroxyapatite coating layer prepared thereby are provided to improve the crystallinity of hydroxyapatite coating.;CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of a hydroxyapatite coating layer using aerosol deposition and hydrothermal treatment is as follows. Hydroxyapatite powder is put into a powder chamber. A metal substrate is installed in a deposition chamber. A vacuum pump vacuumizes the chambers. Gas is injected into the powder chamber to mix the hydroxyapatite powder with the gas. The mixed powder is injected into the surface of the metal substrate inside the deposition chamber to deposit a hydroxyapatite coating layer on the metal substrate. The deposited hydroxyapatite coating layer is hydrothermally treated. The hydrothermally treated hydroxyapatite coating layer is washed and is dried.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
