PURPOSE: A highly-efficient clean engine system using water gas decomposed by plasma is provided to improve fuel efficiency by supplying stored hydrogen and oxygen to an engine. CONSTITUTION: A highly-efficient clean engine system using water gas decomposed by plasma comprises a plasma gas decomposer(20), a fuel mixer(30), a gas storage unit(35), an engine(40), and a gas generation control unit(60). The plasma gas decomposer decomposes water to generate hydrogen and oxygen. The fuel mixer mixes the generated hydrogen and oxygen and generates a fuel source by mixing the mixture with external air. The gas storage unit is installed between the plasma gas decomposer and the fuel mixer and partially stores the generated hydrogen and oxygen. When the load of the engine is low, the gas storage unit supplies the hydrogen and oxygen to the engine through the fuel mixer. The gas generation control unit controls the generation amount of the hydrogen and oxygen supplied to the plasma gas decomposer.
