PURPOSE: An optical axis alignment apparatus and an optical axis alignment method for image photographing are provided to precisely align the optical axis of left and right cameras by extracting digitalized first and second reference lines.;CONSTITUTION: An optical axis alignment apparatus for image photographing comprises a first reference unit(110), a second reference unit, and an aligning unit(130). The first reference unit faces with left and right cameras. A first reference line(111) is formed in the first reference unit. The second reference unit is separated from the rear of the first reference unit and has a second reference line(121) located at the same line as the first reference line. The aligning unit is coupled to the first and second reference units and allows the optical axis of the left camera or the right camera to be located at the same line as the first and second reference lines.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
