Method and plant for treating foundation soils by means of electro-osmosis

A method for treating foundation soils by means of electro-osmosis, in which a pulsating unidirectional voltage is applied between a plurality of first electrodes (1) and second electrodes (2) to bring about a passage of pulsating unidirectional current through the soil. Preferably, the first electrodes (1) and the second electrodes (2) are arranged alternately around the foundation soil to be treated. In one embodiment the method also comprises the use of one or more third electrodes (3) which are placed in a central position relative to the foundation soil to be treated, which are used as additional negative electrodes if the treatment is intended to draw water into the foundation soil, and as the only positive electrodes if the treatment is intended to remove water from the foundation soil. A plant for implementing said method is also claimed.
