PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing halloysite nano-particles in microtube shapes is provided to improve the applicability of the halloysite nano-particles by cutting natural halloysite and maintaining the tubular shape of the natural halloysite and separating the cut halloysite by particle sizes.;CONSTITUTION: Halloysite is dispersed in distilled water to obtain a colloidal solution. The pH 10 of the colloidal solution is maintained through a titration process in order to prevent the coagulation of the colloidal solution if the colloidal solution is finely pulverized. The pH titrated colloidal solution is sprayed to an inclined wall under the high pressure condition of 15,000-25,000 psi. Finely pulverized halloysite nano-powder is obtained. The particle size of the finely pulverized halloysite is lower than or equal to micrometers.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
