BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM AND BRAKING CONTROL METHOD OF VEHICLE, CAPABLE OF REDUCING MANUFACTURING COST BY DIMINISHING NUMBER OF ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT IN EACH WHEELS

PURPOSE: A brake control system and a breaking control method of a vehicle are provided to control an electric break using two central control unit while omitting a local unit installed in each wheels, however, selectively control the electric break in consideration of a priority for preparing an emergency.;CONSTITUTION: A brake control system of a vehicle comprises first and second control units(100,200). The first control unit controls first and second electric breaks(110,120) by receiving breaking signals. The first control unit controls third and forth electric breaks by receiving breaking signals. In case a failure occurred in one of first and second control units, the other control unit selectively controls one or more of electric breaks among the four electric breaks. In case a failure occurred in the first control unit, the second control unit selectively controls operable electric break among the four electric breaks in consideration of the failure occurred.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
