PURPOSE: A mold used for evaluating compactibility of a hydroforming tube and a method for evaluating compactiblity of a hydroforming tube are provided to reduce a failure rate by performing the molding of the hydroforming tube based on exact base data.;CONSTITUTION: A mold used for evaluating compactibility of a hydroforming tube comprises a pair of jig parts(110a,110b) and molding parts(120a,120b). The molding part is arranged between the jig parts. The tubular domain is formed on the molding part in order to generate expansion on only one side of the tube for hydroforming. A pair of jig parts clinches both ends of the tube for hydroforming when the both end is connected to a pressure applying unit. The molding unit is arranged between a pair of jig parts. The formability valuation method of the tube for hydroforming comprises next steps. The blast occurs in the domain of the tube for the hydroforming by mounting tube for hydroforming to a mold.
