PURPOSE: An auxiliary floodgate for bottom water discharge is provided to ensure stable and accurate opening/closing and to prevent blockage caused by seaweeds or foreign materials without bad affect to a main floodgate. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary floodgate for bottom water discharge comprises a housing of an auxiliary floodgate opening/closing device, a drainpipe(23), an auxiliary floodgate body(21), and a hydraulic cylinder(22). The auxiliary floodgate opening/closing device is located at the upstream bottom of a main floodgate part(10). The drainpipe, which is formed with a bottom water channel for discharging bottom water, is connected to the reservoir of a river under the housing. The auxiliary floodgate body is formed on the leading end of the drainpipe, closed for storing water, and rotated around a rotary shaft to open the drainpipe. The hydraulic cylinder opens and closes the auxiliary floodgate body.
