The present invention relates to a multipurpose floodgate installed in a river or a reservoir and, more specifically, relates to a ground water draining device for a floodgate capable of improving water quality by selectively draining ground water stagnating on a bottom of a river or a reservoir, and preventing a drainage duct from being clogged due to fallen leaves or foreign substances by having a filtering cover. The ground water draining device for the floodgate is able to stabilize an opening and closing operation of the drainage duct and is able to control a water storage amount of the river and the reservoir by assisting a main floodgate. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the ground water draining device for the floodgate comprises: a driving unit housing adjacent to both sides of the floodgate; a base frame located on a lower part of the floodgate; plurality of drainage ducts installed in the base frame; an opening and closing post opening and closing the drainage duct and discharging the ground water; and a driving unit horizontally sliding the opening and closing post.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
