PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the temperature of molten steel and a method for measuring the temperature of molten steel using the same are provided to continuously or periodically measure the temperature of molten steel passing through a shroud nozzle.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the temperature of molten steel comprises a temperature measuring unit, a drive unit, and a control unit(130). The temperature measuring unit continuously or periodically measures the temperature change of the surface of a shroud nozzle(20) formed between a ladle(10) and a tundish. The drive unit moves the temperature measuring unit.
