PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing silver nano-wires using a metallic catalyst is provided to efficiently obtain silver nano-wires of uniform diameters and lengths and to precisely control the diameters and the lengths of the nano-wires.;CONSTITUTION: Silver nano-wires are prepared by heating a precursor solution containing silver salt, aqueous polymer, a metallic catalyst, and a reductive solvent. The metallic catalyst is the halogenide of metallic ions and the standard reduction potential thereof is between -0.1 and -0.9V. The precursor solution is in a non-stirred state or satisfies relational expression, 0cm/secV=50cm/sec. In the relational expression, the V is the average flux of the precursor solution. The precursor solution further includes a thickener. A method for manufacturing the silver nano-wires includes the following: silver salt, a first solution containing a first reductive solvent, and a second solution containing aqueous polymer, a metal catalyst, a thickener, and a second reductive solvent are prepared; the second solution is heated; and the second solution in the heated while the first solution is introduced into the second solution.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
