PURPOSE: A carrier for a silver catalyst, a method for manufacturing the same, the silver catalyst manufactured by the same, and the use of the silver catalyst are provided to improve the pore structure and the intensity of the carrier by adding titanium silicate molecular sieves into the carrier while manufacturing processes.;CONSTITUTION: A carrier for a silver catalyst is an alpha-alumina carrier. The alpha-alumina carrier is modified by TS-1, ETS-10, or the mixture of the same. In the carrier, the mass ratio of titanium to aluminum is 0.00003 to 0.07. The atomic ratio of the titanium to silicon on the surface of the carrier is 0.0001 to 0.33. The atomic ratio of the titanium to the silicon on the surface of the carrier is varied according to the kinds of modification factors.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
