METHOD FOR GENERATING A 2D SPATIOSPECTRAL ERD/ERS PATTERN FROM AN ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM, A METHOD FOR CLASSIFYING HUMAN INTENTION USING THE 2D SPATIOSPECTRAL ERD/ERS PATTERN, AND A BRAIN-COMPUTER INTERFACE USING AN ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM SIGNAL AS AN INPUT SIGNAL
PURPOSE: A method for generating a 2D spatiospectral ERD/ERS pattern, a method for classifying human intention using the 2D spatiospectral ERD/ERS pattern, and a brain-computer interface using an electroencephalogram signal as an input signal are provided to accurately grasp the intention of a subject by classifying the electroencephalogram using a standard 2D spatiospectral ERD/ERS pattern and a database.;CONSTITUTION: Standard spatiospectral ERD/ERS patterns are generated(S2-1). The standard spatiospectral ERD/ERS patterns are stored in a database according to a task(S2-2). An electroencephalogram is measured through an electrode(S2-3). An input spatiospectral ERD/ERS pattern is generated(S2-4). Similarity of the standard spatiospectral ERD/ERS pattern is measured(S2-5). An input task is classified(S2-6).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
