PURPOSE: A system for UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) telephony MMS(Multimedia Message Service) and a method thereof are provided to transmit a MMS message by an optimized MMS input transmission device for writing an MMS message, thereby transmitting the MMS message to a device connected to an external network.;CONSTITUTION: A message control point(320) searches and connects a message transmission device(300) for transmitting a message with a message receiving device(310) for transmitting the message to an external network. The message transmitting device generates the message. The message transmitting device transmits the message to the message receiving device.
