PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recognizing working patterns of a construction machine are provided to control each device of an excavator depending on working patterns to increase fuel efficiency.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for recognizing working patterns of a construction machine comprises a data accumulation unit(112), a working pattern analysis unit(114), a probability model analysis unit(122), and a pattern result output unit(120). The data accumulation unit accumulates data by getting operation signal of each device from a joystick(100). The working pattern analysis unit analyzes the data of accumulated operation signals in order to discriminate current working patterns. The probability model analysis unit discriminates the data, which is not discriminated from the working pattern analysis unit, according to a probability model. The pattern result output unit outputs the working patterns, discriminated from the working pattern analysis unit and the probability model analysis unit, to a driving control device(126) and a display unit(124).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
