PURPOSE: A Hi-pass system set up within a room mirror of a vehicle and a method for informing toll gate information using the same are provided to easily safely inform tollgate information related to charging data through a sound and a LCD display screen.;CONSTITUTION: A high-pass system comprises a room mirror(100), an ETCS(Electronic Toll Collection System) terminal(200), and a multimedia device(300) for a vehicle. The room mirror is included in the vehicle. The ETCS terminal is mounted on the room mirror and receives payment information according to road utilization from a tollgate system using a RF communication method. The ETCS terminal changes received payment information into display information related to a display item and voice information related to a voice item and outputs transformed display and voice information as tollgate information. The multimedia device for the vehicle receives the tollgate information and outputs the display information included in the tollgate information through a display unit and a speaker.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
