SURFACE MODIFICATION METHOD OF FLUORINE BASED POLYMER BY USING ELECTRON BEAM IRRADIATION CAPABLE OF SIMPLY MODIFYING SURFACE PHYSICALLY AND CHEMICALLY, AND THE FABRICATION OF SUPERHYDROPHOBIC SURFACE USING THE SAME
PURPOSE: A surface modification method of a fluorine based polymer is provided to simply modified the surface of a fluorine based polymer to have superhydrophobicity.;CONSTITUTION: A surface modification method of a fluorine based polymer comprises a step of modifying the polymer to have ultrahydrophobic surface by irradiating an electron beam to the polymer. The fluorine based polymer film is a polytetra fluoroethylene film. The thickness of the fluorine based polymer is 1-500 micron. The energy of the electron beam is 10-500 keV. The electric current density of the electron beam is 1-20 uA/cm^2. The irradiation dose of the electron beam is 1×10^16 - 1×10^19 electrons/cm^2.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
