HEAT SINK FOR AN EXTERIOR AMPLIFIER CAPABLE OF IMPROVING DESIGN FREEDOM THROUGH THE MINIATURIZATION OF A HIGH PERFORMANCE AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE: A heat sink for an exterior amplifier is provided to minimally reduce an occupied area of a heat sink in an exterior amplifier by connecting a heat pipe to a hot zone.;CONSTITUTION: A cooling fin(2) asymmetrically is arranged at a width direction center of a heat sink(1) from side to side. A body and the cooling fin of the heat sink are made of an aluminum alloy. The body of the heat sink is formed into a thickness of 2-4mm. The cooling fin is formed into the thickness of 2-4mm or 0.5-1mm. A heat pipe(3) of a convexly projected strip shape is combined with a rear side of the cooling fin around the heat sink. The heat pipe is processed into a thin plate shape by using a copper. The heat pipe is welded in the rear side of a longitudinal direction both ends of the heat sink through spot welding at a top part of an inside wall(5) of the heat sink.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
