FEED ADDITIVE WITH WHEY ON IMPROVEMENT OF GROWTH PERFORMANCE IN NURSERY PIGS AND FEEDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A producing method of whey protein as a feed additive is provided to use whey obtained from a producing process of cheese as a byproduct. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of whey protein as a feed additive comprises the following steps: concentrating and drying whey obtained from a producing process of cheese; hydrolyzing the concentrated and dried whey using an enzyme by adding 1.5-2.5wt% of trypsin to the whey having the concentration of 8-9%, and reacting the mixture at 50 deg C in the pH of 8 for 3 hours; and centrifugal separating the hydrolysate, and drying supernatant to obtain whey powder. The feed additive contains 0.7-1wt% of whey powder.
