THICK LAYER POLYIMIDE METAL CLAD LAMINATE CAPABLE OF ENHANCING PROCESS STABILITY AND DIMENSIONAL STABILITY

PURPOSE: A thick layer polyimide metal clad laminate is provided to minimize eutectic phase problems caused during manufacture of the thick layer polyimide metal clad laminate.;CONSTITUTION: A thick layer polyimide metal clad laminate comprises a polyimide film and a thermoplasticity polyimide layer. The polyimide film has measured elongation rate of 30%or less measured with a IPC-TM-650 method. The polyimide film has more than 3GPa of tensile modulus. The polyimide film has measured coefficient of linear thermal expansion of 5-30ppm/deg. Celsius at 100-250 deg. Celsius. The thermoplasticity polyimide layer is included in a single-side or both sides of the polyimide film. The metal film is selected from copper foil, stainless foil, nickel foil, or more than 2 kinds of alloy films.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
