CONNECTING DEVICE FOR PHC PILE ENDS

PURPOSE: A coupling device for the ends of PHC(Pretentioned spun High strength Concrete) piles is provided to reduce costs required for manufacturing multiple PC nuts. CONSTITUTION: A coupling device for the ends of PHC piles is composed as follows. Multiple joints(A) composed of PC steel bar connection units(12) and nut holes(13) are formed in each ring-shaped steel disk(11). Each PC steel bar connection unit has a hemispherical mounting unit and a through hole. A spherical protrusion(5a) formed in the end of each PC steel bars(5) is installed in the hemispherical mounting unit. The body(5b) of the PC steel bar is inserted into the through hole. A joint device(3) is securely coupled to the nut holes.
