PURPOSE: A portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to enable other user to use the same application as the user of a portable terminal by transmitting data related to the application stored in the portable terminal to other user.;CONSTITUTION: A memory unit(160) stores one or more applications. A control unit(180) transmits data related to the applications to one or more other users through a wireless communication unit. When the applications are stored in the memory unit, the control unit transmits the data to other user. When the stored applications are executed, the control unit transmits the data to other user.
