PORCINE TYPE C ROTAVIRUS-SPECIFIC VP6 PROTEIN AND AN ANTIBODY FOR DETECTING TYPE C ROTAVIRUS

PURPOSE: A porcine type C rotavirus-specific VP6 and an antibody using the same are provided to quickly and accurately diagnose type C rotavirus.;CONSTITUTION: A porcine type C rotavirus VP6 protein contains an amino acid of sequence number 2. A porcine type C rotavirus VP6 gene encoding VP6 protein contains a base sequence of sequence number 1. A recombinant expression vector contains VP6 gene which is operatively linked to a regulatory sequence of an expression vector. A method for preparing an antibody against VP6 protein comprises: a step of immunizing a mouse with VP6 protein; and a step of isolating antibodies against the VP6 proteins. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating porcine type C rotavirus infection contains the antibody as an active ingredient.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
