HYBRID PROPELLING DEVICE OF A SHIP FOR OPTIMAL SAILING IN A ROUGH SEA CONDITION, CAPABLE OF OPERATING A MAIN ENGINE AT A CONSTANT LOAD EVEN IN A ROUGH SEA CONDITION

PURPOSE: A hybrid propelling device of a ship for optimal sailing in a rough sea condition is provided to operate a main engine at a constant load even in a rough sea condition according as a motor assumes variable shafting loads of a ship.;CONSTITUTION: A hybrid propelling device of a ship for optimal sailing in a rough sea condition comprises a motor(1), a measuring sensor(2), and a power control device(3). The motor is coupled with a propelling shaft and supplies shaft horsepower for assuming variable shafting loads generating in a rough sea condition to the propelling shaft. The measuring sensor measures the variable shafting loads in real time and transmits the measured values to the power control device. The power control device is electrically connected with the motor and the measuring sensor and supplies the power for driving the motor to the motor according to the measured values transmitted from the measuring sensor in the rough sea condition.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
