PURPOSE: A method for controlling a heating system of an electric vehicle is provided to maintain a pleasant indoor environment by reducing a time to reach the certain temperature for heating inside the electric vehicle.;CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a heating system of an electric vehicle comprises next steps. The outdoor air temperature is detected(S10). A PTC(Positive Temperature Co-efficient heater) heater is heated(S20). The temperature of the heated PTC heater is detected to be compared with the setting temperature of the PTC heater(S40). If the detected temperature of the PTC heater is lower than the set temperature of the PTC heater, voltages applied to a blower are limited to less than operating voltages(S50). The PTC heater is heated only if the detected temperature of the outdoor air is lower than the first set temperature.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
