PURPOSE: A location-tracking system for animals based on augmented reality(AR) and location based services(LBS) is provided to efficiently manage grazed livestocks and wild animals.;CONSTITUTION: A transceiving module(110) transmits and receives information. An identification(ID) storing module(120) stores and provides the intrinsic IDs of animals. A controlling module(140) controls the transmission of position information based on a location sensor(130). A portable terminal(30) includes the transceiving module, a capturing module, a location information module, and the controlling module. A server(50) includes a storing module, an integrated information module, and a central controlling module. The storing module stores transceived information and geographical information.
